I was fortunate to be able to meet John, Darla, and the crew a few years ago with the Rolls Bentley Owners Club and visit his warehouse. John was and as eager as the club members to talk cars and still retained the youthful excitement for everyone of the cars in his collection. He was gentleman and gracious host.
Thank you for sharing your passion with us, John.

I purchased the 1952 Olds Super 88 Conv that once was in John's collection. I was intrested in the history of the car. I then came upon the article on John's terrible accident. I will have a feeling for him everytime I see this car now. All others that were a part of his collection will feel the same I am sure.

I just purchased 1952 Olds Rocket 88 Conv I think was owned by Mr. O'Quinn. It is a lovely car and I really enjoy it. When I checked history I saw he owned it. I viewed the video and saw a man who loved his cars, people, and companion. It now has a personality.

Whomever is in charge of this website, I thank you for inserting the video and bringing John back to life for a few brief moments. He and I shared a passion for cars, and I almost worked for him as a guide for his museum. He was a good friend, and always had a great smile. It was an honor to know him! If I can do anything for the good of future shows, (not sure how the cars ended up) please do not hesitate to contact me. I keep looking for John in the second or third row at church... but I know those days are gone. His eyes sparkled when he spoke about his cars, which ones were being restored and how. I know he was a christian and spread his wealth unselfishly to many admirable areas. I'm always aware of this when I visit the children's assessment center. Thank you for keeping this part alive. I hope you would add additional photos and videos. Thanks!
